There’s nothing more satisfying for DIYers than finishing a project—that is, until they find something else to build. The DIY community thrives on bringing concepts to life, whether it’s in the form of a remodeled bathroom or new planters for the garden.
No company understands this more than Craftsman, a leading brand that’s been delivering tools and services to DIY and professional builders for more than 90 years. With the help of partner Aisle Rocket Studios, the company redesigned its Craftsman Club website using Adobe Marketing Cloud, including Livefyre, part of Adobe Experience Manager. The new website features the Craftsman Inspiration Wall, where people can share their DIY creations with others and pick up some inspiration.
“With Livefyre, we’re able to bring in a ton of user-generated content about DIY projects and inspiration from across the web that our brand just couldn’t create on their own,” says Bob Boyle, Vice President, Client Engagement, Aisle Rocket Studios.
The results speak for themselves. Digital membership to the Craftsman Club has increased by 190 percent, with visitors spending over six times longer on the site. The site also attracted new Craftsman Tool users: 78 percent of Craftsman Club’s online members joined the community after the revamp.
