The Experience Business Ecosystem

Digital is changing everything about the way consumers engage with our products and services. We expect things to be smart and integrated and seamless.

Today’s brands aren’t selling products; they’re selling experiences. They aren’t distributing goods; they’re enabling “good times.” The customer is calling the shots.

A quick scroll through Instagram will show that users aren’t snapping photos of their new Nikes to show off the Flywire technology. Instead, they post pictures of themselves standing at the finish line after a long run. The runner, not the shoes, gets the glory. That’s what modern customers demand. They’re looking for an entire experience, one in which they’re the star.

This shift—from focusing on the product to focusing on the experience—is transforming modern business.
